Do you think this saying is true.....?
A son is your son untill he takes a wife!

but a daughter is your daughter for the rest of your life! Wink

hum... I am not sure.. it depends on the parents.

Sometimes the son defends his parents more than his wife, and then he does not really "go away"

Daughter, well let's face it we are all female Smile Something of a connection there...not much we can do, or would want to change about that Smile

Every relationship is diff. My friends son got married & is living close by. They are at my friend all the time. The married daughter is moving away.But I do have to say daughter is very jealous of sil being at moms all the time.There the daughter is obviously daughter for life but so is the son.
