Using up Leftover Gef fish

From a recent post ... I boil the roll since ds likes it. We eat what we want .. andnthe rest gets frozen.

The next week, on Friday morning, I take it out of the Tupperware, slice it thickly, put it into a pan with cheap tomato sauce and spies, heat for a few minutes, let cool and refrigerate.

Tastes fabulous !!!!!

Not my taste.

Anyway, gef fish is really expensive and in our house, it's really just for Shabobs/yomtov.

Wow. Never even crossed my mind (I just recently started making gefilte fish - we usually have tilapia). Sounds like a good way to have it motzei shabbat! YUM!

pan to me is either a pan you put in the oven or frying pan you put on the stove top.
