whenever I go to put my 2 yr old in his carseat, he insists on sitting in the drivers seat and "driving" for a minute or two. "I wanna drive," he says over and over. so each time I joke and say, "what, you wanna drive me crazy?" so for the past couple of days he's been saying "I wanna drive crazy."

I dont see the problem in validating the fact that he wants to drive, and when you have time letting drive for a minute or two. why not? my son loves when I put him in the driver seat so I let him whenever I can,

I think instead of saying "you want to drive me crazy.. which imo isnt a good message for a child to be told... its better for them to be told something like "isnt it fun to drive? are you so excited to be a tatty and drive... or maybe later mommy will let you turn the wheel.... etc
