Also, wasn't it major yichud? At first I thought Gabe was staying home to prevent a shayla of yichud but then he left to Maariv (which is weird being that he was not generally makpid on minyan.)
Also. She dressed up in a business suit?? I mean please. If Boyed is meeting her in her house, which is totally unprofessional, she had to change her clothes??

Yep, was waiting for someone to comment, like they've just taken it for granted that they're not Kohanim without a psak and starting to date? I thought it was really weird. Getting a shadchan involved was also strange...

Also, the other guy, the big macher, Gabe's friend. Forgot is name. What's he doing in Penina's work place, and why do her coworkers know him? Does he work there too? Isn't it strange that they were discussing their private case with Martin and the other office guy?

Yes I was waiting for Penina to say that she has to ask a rav to be sure Gabe isn’t a kohen because she’s divorced. She’s agreeing to go out with him again without asking a shaila?!

Moish and Abba? Aren't they the same?

But I also did think it was surprising... though it wasn't clear to me what exactly he did. Also, his kids are high achievers, so it seems a bit odd that that he would be a security guard. I assume he was also college educated.

I'm still stuck on the first chapter, when Rivi had to find out from her brother in South America that her father, who lived a short walk from her house, died. Just seems so strange... Lenape Falls seems like a small community where everyone knows each other. Wouldn't she have heard from someone else?

Not all chapters are available to read in full online. All chapters are there, but some you can read the whole chapter and some just the beginning.

I can read them all online but I have a subscription. I think it's free to create a subscription even if you don't get the magazine. Once you're logged in as a subscriber you should be able to read full chapters for everything
