I'm looking to get away for a few days. Just looking to chill and order in and planning on staying in the mid-beach Miami area (near the 40's and Collins). For whatever reason, Yeshiva week will work best for me, but will it be terrible with tons of frum people there and everything packed? I'm actually not looking to spend time at high end restaurants, just local fast foods or pizza stores. Should I avoid Yeshiva week, or will it be ok?

Only went years ago during yeshiva week but you will have to fight to get into restaurants and eateries that week… not pleasant on vacation

I only go in November/a coupe of weeks after sukkos because I cannot stand packed eateries/hotels/attractions. It'd fairly quiet then & a pleasure.
During yeshiva week, eateries are pure madness. You can wait in line for over an hour.

I would not recommend going yeshiva week if you have another option. The pizza stores and quick takeout will be packed too.

When exactly is yeshiva week? I'm thinking of going the 20th to 22nd.
Will these dates be busy?

It’ll be packed like crazy in the surf side area
I think the 40-41-40 and Collin’s area is quieter
I think the dates you posted are yeshiva week

If you would consider staying in Boca/Ft Lauderdale/Hollywood, it's quieter there.

It used to have virtually no impact on us here in Hollywood. Not true anymore. Still far better than Miami Beach or Bal Harbor, but slightly crowded and hard to get into restaurants here now too.

My parents went to Boca yeshiva week and will never make that mistake again. They could not get a reservation anywhere.

A friend from Miami told me that “Yeshiva Week” in Miami is actually 3 weeks because different schools are off different weeks and it is usually packed for all of them. In the NY/NJ area “Yeshiva Week” is the week (and a half) that the day schools are off. This year, it’s Jan 17-26. But I know of more yeshivish schools that are off the following 2 weeks and many of their families go to Miami as well.
OP, a good number of restaurants won’t be doing deliveries that week or even advanced orders to pick up. The restaurants are swamped.

Yes, avoid at all costs. I made this mistake last year (I’m chassidish so had no clue) and never again. Beach was packed- could hardly get a towel, and eateries had hours long wait for food.

I went last year around then and it was no problem. Going again this year as well. We only ate at “fast food” kind of places and they were not crowded at all.

Thanks for the responses. Which schools from which circles have yeshiva week? I'm a BYHS (of BP) graduate and our vacation was always in early February and just for a few days, never for a week and a half.
