He’s been taking periactin since Thursday, so he had two doses so far. He started getting a diaper rash yesterday, which may or may not be related.
Today he ate:
A hard boiled egg
About a quarter of a piece of salmon
A few pieces of hard salami
2 franks in blanks minus the dough (so just the hot dogs)

That’s more than he usually eats in a few days! I’m taking one of my kids to a friend soon, and I will see if he wants dinner when we get back.

Have you tried the 1.4/1.5 shakes? Some kids don’t like them but if he’ll drink them it would be a quick calorie boost. Kate farms has a standard 1.4kcal/ml and a peptide 1.5kcal/ml.

You could also add a little coconut oil or MCT oil to his drinks/shakes. If you blend it really well with a milk frother or blender it emulsifies instead of leaving an oily layer.
