I don’t get the question. It’s one thing to complain about groceries going up in price because we literally need food to eat. Or to complain about the cost of health insurance and how little they cover. But a fancy donut? That’s like complaining that designers charge $1000 for a pair of shoes. Don’t buy the $1000 shoes. Don’t buy the $12 donuts. I promise you’ll more than survive.

Please dont throw tomatoes at me but its very easy to say " Dont buy them" if you cant afford it. A basic doughnut is not so much cheaper. I paid close to two dollars each for basic custard ones. Dunkin donuts uses the same eggs and their donuts arent priced like this.

Its called being "Working poor" sorry you dont understand. Nothing bougie here. I dont get any kickbacks from the government and expected to pay in full for everything when Im just about 500 dollars over the income guideline limit. I dont know what you think is elitist. Dunkins customer base is slightly bigger. Their workers might be getting smaller salaries, their rent might be cheaper. So many details to find out, I should set up a meeting.
