Omg no!

Some not so tasty matbucha that I’ve had definitely taste like salsa.

Matbucha is very different. When it’s well made it’s very special and uplifts the whole meal

Matbucha is cooked down until it is very thick ( I cook mine for 3-4 hours)
Salsa is not cooked as long
There are ingredients that are different as well
But the cooking time lends itself to a completely different taste and texture .

Proper matbucha is nothing like salsa
