Can I ask how you know all of the US and England like the back of your hand?!?!

Are you up for a challenge??
You seem to be the person I should hire!

We’re planning a 2 week road trip in the summer. From central NJ south to Louisville Kentucky and then a bit further. We want to drive there and back(vs flying back).

Can you start us with the first few destinations?
Car will be taken care of. Lots of Hilton points for hotels.
Budget 3-4k

4 Kids ages 18m - 8

If there is literally no budget, this is the ultimate airbnb with activities

Fort Delaware Museam is in the area

Pocono Mountain Maple tour looks amazing - they are on friday, but I will look around if there is something similar a different say

Lol not quite that open of a budget. And we definitely don't need that many rooms! But the castle looks amazing!
Any ideas for 3 bedroom places more affordable but also quaint and interesting?

Ok - makes sense

What about Williamsburg VA?

First day, drive down, do only free stuff - historic jamestown ( the glasshouse is very cool) the Jamestown Ferry, and then walk Colonial Williamsburg’s Merchants Square ( lots of quaint shops).
Stay in this Holiday Inn for 90$
https://www.booking.com/hotel/.....&

2nd day do Busch Gardens if you want to splurge or some of the colonial stuff that isn't free

Busch Gardens has a 50% promotion today only to go thru january 5th.
https://buschgardens.com/willi.....fers/
Thats 250$ for 6 people

Or
Colonial Williamsburg
https://www.colonialwilliamsburg.org/
Jamestown Settlement
https://www.jyfmuseums.org/vis.....ement

Heres chabads website with a more comprehensive list of activities and minyanim/kosher food

Colonial Williamsburg accepts museum for all.

Wow thats amazing!
Help me out a bit - what kind of things do you guys like? How important are minyanim all the time to you? Shmiras Eynayim Standards? ages of the people on the trip?

I live in Israel, grew up in NJ, and we travel back and forth alot - always with stopovers in europe.
My parents are big budget travalers - most of the greater tri state area stuff is things we do over chol hamoed, Sundays, summer vacations ( we dont do camp, we road trip)

At this point even if I haven't been somewhere, researching it takes me minutes...

I actually have considered starting an itinerary planning business for Europe now that everyone needs to stopover if they come to Israel, but I am not sure there is a market for it.

Oh wow!!

4 Kids 18 months -8 years. 2 adults

Minyanim not important.

Shmiras einayim- well I’m posting with my username so I’m limited with what I can say here;) but - no beaches or water parks.

We are Outdoorsy ppl. Adventurers. Museums are fun too. ( we did Noah ark in Kentucky last summer- it was fantastic)

We’re very easy with food so don’t need restaurants.

Kids won’t be going to camp so really want to give them good time.

Top of my head, let me know if you want details on what to do in each place:
Lehigh River Valley Area
Lancaster PA
Harrisburg PA
Harpers Ferry, WV
Blackwater Falls, WV
Seneca Rocks, WV
Lost World Caverns, WV
New River Gorge, WV
Charlston, WV

You can add a bunch of stops - Between Harrisburg to harpers ferry you can detour and do Gettysbury, PA
Baltimore MD
D.C
Richmond VA
Williamsburg VA

If you do that I would skip harpers ferry and go straight to blackwater falls - it would be a longish stretch but I would want to get that part of WV in - its specatacular.

You can also skip the first three stops in PA and go straight to Baltimore....

What would it look like if I want to get Ohio in after wv but before Kentucky?

And for the way back home?
Should we do Tennessee, Virginia and s Carolina?
