I love planning stuff for people!

Post your (general) location, budget, age of kids who need entertainment and I'll put together some ideas for you.

Anyone feel free to hop on and add your two cents Smile

For real?! Yay!!

I need to entertain 3 kids between 10-15 years old. Live in central NJ. Would love day trips, however many you can plan while keeping overall budget $150 or less.

We know about skyzone, climbzone, color me mine, top golf, american dream.

Wondering if there is anything you know that is more unique, or off the beaten path.

TY!

Day in the city - if its your hashkafa, I can let you know how to get cheap tickets for shows or free shows.

Otherwise - there are all the regular attractions ( let me know if you want a list)

Bowl with https://www.kidsbowlfree.com/index.php

Take a train from Penn station or Phili to Boston - let me know if you want more info on activities

Drive to PA to a parkand bring sleds and do your own sledding, here is where you can find the parks that are set up for it

Fake MasterChef competition. You make a mystery box of ingrediants, set up cook stations and then there is a timer and taste test

Oooh be creative please! My husband and I are so boring with ideas but want to go away. Baltimore. 4 kids baby-4th grade.
Would love to go away overnight somewhere for a night anytime between now and Jan 2. Activities nearby for the day of and after would be a big plus.
Budget is $200-$300 (Including activities).
Not sure it’s possible. Could maybe swing $350 if it was something really really worth it.

Get museum passes thru the library. Looks like this is only available thru the end of December, but you may be able to book now in advance for winter break. Its basically free passes to museams - for different amounts of people

The best places for that age are the Crayola factory, Children's Museum in Manhattan, Intrepid, Insectropolis, and Liberty Science center.
https://theoceancountylibrary......ogram

Morristown Museum is also very interactive and fun for kids
8$ per kid, 12 per adult
https://morrismuseum.org/

Take the NJ transit a few stops and then turn around and go back. If your kids really love trains, take it all the way to penn station and then move on to Rockefeller center - do Fao shwartz, the Lego store, and then go back

What about snow tubing in Massanutten
https://www.massresort.com/stay/

Snowtubing for 6 would be 288

And then drive to Fredricksburg, VA for a cheap hotel, found this for https://www.booking.com/hotel/.....mp;#_

The next day you can walk around the old town, its super charming, and do some of the museams and breweries, before heading back to Baltimore.

0$ means 0$ for attractions or 0$ for anything ( can you afford gas to free activities, or by some interesting things to do at home?)

Don't want to give ideas that are irrelevant....

Clevland museam of Art has an open studio on sunday
https://www.clevelandart.org/e.....tudio

https://www.pinsbar.com/locati.....9FvIz
When you purchase one adult bowling game at pins, kids bowl for free
Arcade games, jumbo jenga, hookie, jumbo connect four, and their huge lite board are all FREE with the purchase of at least one adult beverage.

16 bit arcade - kids bowl free on sunday
https://www.16-bitbar.com/cleveland

If you have snow - here is a list of parks that have hills and setups for sledding.

Sledding + a propane stove to make hot cocoa + making a little fire and smores is super fun!

Something like this - perfect to make a pot of hot cocoa ( bring a folding table to set up), and to toast smores on.

You can also make a bonfire if its a park that allows that, then something like this works

Sunday Chanukah we have no parties and would love to take my kids on a trip. Ages 4-16. Central NJ. But can’t handle crowded places so between chanuka and secular holiday I don’t know if that’s possible?
