Put them in a pot of cold water till they defrost and then dump the water and boil them. Counterintuitive but cold or lukewarm water is best.

If it’s in a sauce I freeze in a container and defrost in a pot on a low flame with a bit of water to start it off. If it’s not in a sauce I freeze on a cookie sheet so they don’t all clump together and then combine in a bag after they’re frozen.

For next time, take it out the night before and let it defrost fully. Then just reheat in a pot.
(This is if it's in a sauce.)
