My oldest is going away with his Abba for Simchas Torah (we kept it a surprise from him until tonight) and just stam today he cuddled up to me and said
"When my brothers and I were just neshamos in shamayim, we asked Hashem that you and Abba could get married so we could come live with you."
(I don't have an emoticon for this one)
Anyone with other remarks that make/made you melt from people in your life?

Those statements make me feel as if there is some truth to them, maybe they remember certain things or feelings from then...my DD says things that happened up there too.
Usually my DD (the emotional and expressive one) will say things like "I'm the luckiest girl in the world to have an Ima like you" or "you're the best Ima in the world." It is sweet but coming from her the comment may be said in the same hour as "you're the most horrible Ima in the whole world" or "I hate my life/my family/my favorite doll and I might just die."
I try to cherish the nicer things that come out of her mouth as she is a serious drama queen (okay, she takes after me a bit... but I've mellowed with age.)
Enjoy your sweetie!

My favorite is when the kids tell each other what they left in my stomach for the next ones-- the oldest left a crib (by now it's a mesora so they younger ones spout it off)--the next one some baseball cards and toys etc. It's so cute.

That's adorable!!!
Someone told me her toddler asked her when she was pregnant if the baby had any toys to play with in her belly.

When my brother was little (over 30 year ago) he asked my father to teach him kaddish so he'll be ready when the time came.

My ds tells me today, “I have undertaken three new things… 1, not to answer back, 2, not to become in Kaas, 3 – to remember to prepare negelvasser”. I’m all glowy.
Then he shows me the toys catalog he’s been browsing. And says, I’m saying this because it’s only $29.95 and I like it so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
