I have bangs on my weekday wig and I love it. It's very no-nonsense, I don't have to do much to it - pop it on and I'm good to go. My Shabbos wig requires more maneuvering to get it into the right place, adjust on my hairline, adjust the side hair, etc.....

My exact thought!!! It covers the hairline so it’s very hard to tell it’s a wig.

I never found this to be the case back when bangs were in style. It was always clear that it was a wig. Though that was 10-15 years ago. Wigs do lay flatter on the head these days.

I think most women look better with bangs that frame your face better. The no bangs wig only looks good on very pretty/proportionate faces. Bangs give a lot and break up the face if you don’t have the perfect face

On the contrary, I think you can tell very easily. It still looks like a wig.....no connection to lace.

And I see it everywhere....there was a time a few years ago when bangs were "in" and EVERYONE was wearing bangs. So it's not like that anymore. But I see plenty of bangs all over the place.

I actually agree with this. I personally think it's harder to really tell it's a wig when there are bangs. I just think everyone is so used to that style for sheitels, so anyone with bangs is automatically assumed to be wearing a wig.

The fact that many singles don't have bangs (more for practical reasons as mentioned above) makes it "easier" to identify anyone with bangs as a wig as well.

Lace on the other hand- you can literally see the lace! Maybe not from far, but from a normal conversational distance, yes. You can see the grid on the person's scalp!
