made from the dark part of the turkey.
I think the legs? do you use it for meatballs?
how does it compare to ground beef?
any recipes?
is it good baked in the oven or is it much drier?

If you add part minced chicken, plus water in the mixture, it will be nice and moist.

Dark ground turkey is delicious (not sure why they added the word goulash). It's moist and flavorful and can be used in place of any ground beef recipe. I prefer it over dark ground chicken. (I don't love ground chicken or ground turkey from the breast, which is dry.)
It tastes a bit like ground veal.

why add minced chicken if the dark part isnt dry?
which part of the ground turkey do you buy?

I didnt know you can get dark ground chicken,
can I bake it in the oven?

Where I live, they don't sell dark ground turkey. Only the dry part.

Yes you can make meatballs and bake them 20-30 minutes until done (I mean seasoned, not in sauce).

just add a egg, bit of spices and fried onions. flatten, spray with oil and bake?

I like it with just spices.
Also with breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, onion, salt.
I don't flatten or spray. We eat baked meatballs over spaghetti or inside pita with avocado tomato salad (the spiced one).

You can use it any way you might use ground beef. We particularly love it as meatloaf, but I also use it for burgers, meatballs and stuffed vegetables. It is tasty and not dry at all
