Hi I had 4 children BH and would love to have more in the future, really want to try to lose some weight. I am about 35-40 pounds overweight and losing has been very difficult. Has anyone taken Ozempic or metformin for weight loss? And have you been able to get pregnant successfully afterwards (after stopping the drug)
Any advice and information will be greatly appreciated
Please be kind ❤️

Do you realize that neither of those drugs are meant for someone who has 30-40 pounds to lose?
They are drugs for diabetics. I have never heard of anyone taking Metformin for weight loss. Some people lose a small amount of weight while on it. But I have never heard of it being proscribed for weight loss. Doctors who proscribe Ozempic for such a small amount of weight and no other health conditions are dishonest, in my opinion.

I know that many women who have pcos take metformin which helps with many of their symptoms, including weight -- they are certainly able to conceive after having lost weight with the medication. I don't have any personal experience with the medicine but I have some friends who had this experience.
