Pasta Rosa
6 tbsp butter
1 garlic clove, crushed
3 tbsp tomato paste
2 tsp sugar
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp kosher salt
15 oz can tomato sauce
1 1/2 cups milk
1 1/2 cups water
1 lb rotini pasta, raw
pinch black pepper
kosher salt, to taste
parmesan cheese, grated for serving
Melt butter in large saucepan. Add garlic and tomato paste and stir very well. Stir in sugar, Italian herbs and salt.
Add tomato sauce, milk and pasta. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and cook for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Turn off heat. Pasta will be a bit al dente with a bit of liquid on the bottom, as it will absorb more liquid as it rests.
Season with black pepper and salt to taste, if desired. Let rest 1-2 minutes before serving. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese when serving.
If you're using a different shape pasta, you may need to adjust cooking time or use a little more water.

Thank you so much!!
Is this the only one in dinner done?
I want to make sure its the right one.
When I had it it was red tomatoey based.
It had been reheated, wasnt fresh and was delicious.
Was creamy taste but not too dairy or heavy.
Also what shape is rottini?
Is is the curly long one?
Thanks !!!
