Legally you can't, it hasn't passed the US safety standards as far as I know.

There was an ad in the Ami by a store in Belgium that ships here. I’m pretty sure it’s perfectly safe, it just hasn’t gotten certain approvals in the states.

I saw an ad in one of the magazines that they can ship it to your door. From a UK store.

Also does anyone know how the reclining feature works? From the pics it looks like only the top half of the seat reclines.

Also does it have a chest clip? Otherwise you can get into trouble during a traffic stop.

I don't know if it's this one but I know someone who got her bugaboo fox cub from the store below. Maybe they also have the doona.

From Antwerp, lucky baby.

To my knowledge the European ones don't have chest clips which I think is a requirement in the US to have one.

Also if ch"v anyone's in an accident, insurance likely won't cover you if your baby was in a car seat that's not legally allowed.

This. In the us it legally needs the clip. In uk it's illegal to have the clip. The laws directly contradict each other so that's why the carseats sold are all different.

I know plenty of ppl that have the doona X here in US. the reason its not approved its not because its not safe just because it takes a ton of time our bureaucratic gov to approve these items. Its not illegal to have when you bought it from Europe
the baby is super comfortable it it and its amazing
