Can you cut a loaf in half before cooking and only cook half?
If you do that do you have to re wrap in parchment paper before cooking?

I cut it and bake. But I'm sure rewrapping it and cooking will also work.

I actually did this for the past Shabbos. I cut the loaf in half and wrapped it in more parchment. Then I cooked as usual.

Yes. I cook a 1/2 roll every week. Leave it in the parchment and cut while frozen. Stays nice

I cook a half roll every week. I do rewrap it in a new parchment paper.

I cut it while in parchment and just cook like that=open on one end. no need to rewrap that end

Sure, I’ve also asked the fish store to cut for me. (They can also cut in 3)
