Can anyone give me advice, I am in my early forties and really want to buy a high end weekday watch. My budget would be between $1-2000 or less if that is possible.
I dont want to buy something that all the young girls are wearing- eg a Michelle - although I love the look, I want something a bit more suited to my age.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what is trending, and what is considered a pretty time piece yet functional but also very stylish and classy.
Thank you
I live in NY if that makes a difference

I recommend Longines on every such thread, possibly Tissot which is even cheaper but still a Swiss brand.

I bought the ebel recently. I'm 41. An ebel was and is always a classic.

Thank you
I have a beautiful Longines watch for shabbos so I wanted something else - I probably should have mentioned that in my original post.
I am going to look up Tissot

I'm in my 40s and I have a michele. My boss is 50, she has one also. I'm not in Lakewood or whatever area and I don't see a lot of people with them.

Most people these days are wearing Apple Watch on weekdays.

A few years ago, I'd agree with you (and I had one also), but I'm really seeing the apple watch trend pretty over at this point. I wore mine for two years and then I had enough.

Thank you all.
I'm going to look into those brands.
I prefer a regular watch to an apple watch. I love a classy watch and I have my phone with me most of the time so I dont see the need for an apple watch tbh.
