Having baby #2 iyh.
Husband learns right now he’s getting 13k a year from kollel plus $6k a year with a very very small job .

I work 2 part time jobs one brings in about 12k other one is more of a hobby I make about $7k a year. I’m a bit disabled so full time work is not an option right now.

Parents together give us $4500 monthly
They also pay few random things for us ie home insurance , I’m still on their health insurance (husband has through his job) and then my parents randomly will send money to cover things occasionally

(wealthy circles so no one has to yell about parents stretching themselves thin)

What do you do ? Can you go somewhere with higher salary?

Also does he have an option to switch kollelim/chaburos and make a bit more? My husband switched chaburos to a paying one to pay for a specific expense

I don’t work. Dh works part time and gets support from his parents. Together it’s 70k a year.
We live in Israel, 2 kids. Just about making it. Don’t have enough to buy tickets to visit our parents for ymtv.

My math tells me that's 21700 NIS each month, is that right? How do you "just about make it"?
When we had 2 kids we made it on 6k NIS a month, if we'd lived in a more expensive area we'd have needed 9k a month.

5,000 rent
5,000 car and gas
1,000 tuition
6,000 food and pharmacy
1,000 bills
The rest just flows out…..
We also have a lot of debt from when my dh was unemployed during covid.

I don't know if you are looking to cut back or not.
If you are, you can get way cheaper rent if you move a little out
Your car and gas sounds very high.

I have a double digit family bH and we are doing well on 30,000 a month.

I have two children. I make 120k with tons of benefits, husband makes 90k. Between student loans, taxes, and tuition were not saving nearly enouh to buy a house anytime soon and its depressing. We would need 100k+ for a down payment, even with our decent income its extremely hard to save up that much! We only starting earning this much very recently since we graduared school. If we had our kids a few years later we would be in a very different place.

Make about 30k and not sure about husband but works less hours.
Yes medicaid, WIC etc are definitely helpful
Not sure how teachers do it with low pay
Actually wondering which formula is on WIC as I just started on that and ya it's expensive

Sounds like you mainly need to pay rent and food. That should be tight, but doable.

Not applicable to me, but it may be wise for posters to also note their General geographical area

Every geographical area has different Financial realities, including sometimes higher salaries but the higher cost of living as well.
