For kids or adults?

Both I think. I remember last simchas Torah seeing lots of cardigans on maxis but IDK if it’s still a thing.

Now that clothing is in the store, can someone who really "gets" trends explain what I should be looking for for DD18. She wants my help but I don't know what is in. and, no, not everything in the frum stores are in. We are OOT and usually there are styles that are going out but still being made.

for example: Are slip dresses with sweaters still in or is there something new and more with it?
We tried for her a pretty black dress that was a little shorter than midi with a tiered hem. She felt it was not in style....?

That is not in style.
Maxi dresses, blazers, pleated skirts, maxi skirts, Mary Jane flats for shabbos
Slip dresses and crop sweaters aren’t the most current thing but it will still be worn.
Hope this helps!

Slip dresses with blouses that are tied are in. That’s what all the 18 year olds tried on in the store I was in. The color of the year is green. Lots of long until ankles. I saw more maxi then midi.

Straight maxis. Lots of straight maxi jumpers with a tied blouse or jacket over. Chunky sweaters with maxi skirts.

I think an older teen can wear blazers. There’s more youthful ones with funky patterns or made out of more casual materials. The maxi dresses are mostly fitted and straight. Or more loose and straight.
Skirts can be accordion, pleated or aline.

Disclaimer before the imamother police come for me. Wear what you want and what looks best for your body type 😂

Thank you! Sounds like you're good in fashion. What are the colors or patterns that are in? What color shoes?

Brown, burgandy, hunter green
LEATHER! short, long all leather skirts!
Slip skirts with chunky sweaters
Printed blouses and skirts
Check fame on central website, they are very trendy and put outfits together on the site you can match.
Loafers ( I like chunky), mary Jane’s. Don’t like mesh at all but not in winter even more.
Cropped cardigans, jackets
Blazers are fine but not as trendy as in the past
Short pleated skirts are also very in
Printed turtleneck
