Which section is a must to cover
Which section is best to start out at
Will I manage to cover the whole park in one day
Is there enough shade and seating areas
Anything I left out?!

It's small. You'll cover the whole thing in one day. Get there early so the rides aren't crowded and you'll get on a bunch pretty quickly.
It's a lot of hills and steps. The steps are basically the "shortcuts".
There are definitely places to sit with shade but not all the benches have shade

There's a lot of walking, the ride that you ride your own Lego car is adorable and usually has a long line so head there first. The fire truck ride is also really cute

No shade. Lots of walking and steps. Start at the end thru the mini city and work your way back. The boats had the longest line when I went, went back the next day at opening and started from there and the kids went twice. The refillable cup wasnt worth it imo. Probably cheaper and easier to buy drinks at the carts.

Is there anywhere to nurse a baby? Or will I have to go back to the car to nurse?

There’s a place down in the city part at the bottom. I forgot what’s it’s called but it’s duplo themed.

It's fun. No shade. Must get there early (this is a must!)

Go directly to the bottom when you get there and work your way up. You'll have shorter lines that way.

The splashpad is loads of fun but you need the app to reserve.

The hotel is really cool if you want to splurge. You can get good prices at off season.

Baby care section is near the 4d movie theater, drive your own cars etc.

Take empty water bottles. In the kiosks where you fill the refillable cups there are free machines with water and ice. Also lots of water fountains.
I found it very family friendly, we definitely needed more time, there is quite a bit of walking, the stairs are great if you haven't got a stroller (I told my son to walk and lifted it for the stairs cuz it saved so much time).
I would have preferred two days, cuz there were some things like Lego building places that were great but took up time and they also wanted the rides.

Another thing to note is that there is a long walk from the parking lot to the actual park

Caps or visors for the kids are a great idea, or you can buy there

I think the age depends on the expectations. If they are looking for a six flags type of trip, it's totally not that.
We went on a family trip with tons of cousins, my daughter was the oldest at 14 and she had a good time cuz she was with everyone and they went everywhere together. If it had just been our family I'm not sure she would have had the same experience .
I would also say 3-12 and my 5 year old loved all the cars and stuff around the paths, she didn't do many rides but had a blast

I went with a bunch of families, they didn't say anything to all of us except one family who brought a ton of food. They were suspicious that she was going to sell it

The 4d theater has 3 shows, the duplo show is adorable. The others are probably scary. Once you get you that area, check out the timing of the shows and plan accordingly. No strollers are allowed inside the theater but I believe there's place to leave it by the door. I took the doona in folded.
Start by walking down miniland and make your way around and back up.
We were there twice and loved it. Everyone loved miniland so take your time walking down.
