That’s funny because I always wished for a second washing machine, not dryer.
I dream of having 2 loads going at the same time- white and dark. The dryer is so big that I feel like it can handle drying 2 loads especially since I hang a lot of things these days.
My real dream is to have 2 stackables. Meaning 2 washers and 2 dryers. Laundry will be a breeze.
(My husband said that I’ll have too much extra time on my hands if he buys that for me Wink - good thing I don’t have the space anyway)

But with the launderette down the road it's kind of as if I have another washer for these busy times! And now I have where to dry it. Instead of a queue waiting for my one dryer.

Cost me £5 a load. Well worth the money. We have space in my garage but the plumbing is more of an issue. A dryer can go anywhere Wink

Yup.
I have my old stackable from when I lived in an apt in my garage and New machines in my laundry room. Best thing ever.!

And I use both! Especially now after the 9 days..
And ppl thought I was crazy for bringing along my old machines.

That's the best! Good idea. If I could have 2 washing machines then I would also.

Tell your husband that it's the folding and putting away that takes time, not the washing and drying.

No. The outdoor smell I'm referring to is definitely not fresh air. It's the smell your kids come home with after being outdoors.
Can't describe it well. Can someone help me out?
Clothing hung indoors does not get a smell.

I know exactly what you mean. I’m upstate for the summer now and everyone is always hanging their wet laundry outside. I don’t. Ever. It def gets that smell.
Good luck op. U seem like a kindred spirit.
I do laundry everyday too and hang almost everything. I get you.
