Until 12/13 or so, all outerwear and underwear get changed daily. With the exception of tzitzis, since they wear that over undershirts so gets washed every 2 days.
Pajamas get put on directly after showers, baths so it can be worn for 2 or even 3 days depending on the sweat

At around high school age, we shifted to wool pants, uniform skirts get worn 2-3 days before being washed depending on how dirty and how sweaty.
White shirts also get worn for 2 days unless they're dirty.

Basically when they're younger and everything goes in a big load washer and dryer, they change daily since I can just do those loads frequently.
As they start wearing more specialty stuff- that need to be washed separate on cold and hung, and as theyre getting less filthy, we rewear.

Dh changes every day head to toe.
That's 7 pairs of men's pants plus the lounge pants he wears a couple of times a week around the house.

I have too much laundry - from one person 🙊

Same. Plus Friday evening, so that makes 8 pairs every week.

My dh has at least three or four times as many clothes as I have. He does his own laundry. When we got married, I decided that I wasn't a housemaid and there were some things I wasn't going to do, and that included buying DH clothes and doing his laundry. He did his own when he was single and he could darn well continue doing so.

Men's pants women's skirts, age nine and up skirts and pants and sometimes tops I don't wash every time. We are all BH healthy and don't smell. I totally agree we have too much laundry. People never washed this much, the clothes get ruined quicker and it's unnecessary.

Maybe vent to women only on the laundry, he probably just wants it to be easier for you
