You are making a big mistake by going low fat.

You need to do low carb and high (healthy) fat. Then you will feel full.

Fats don't make you fat, carbs do.

I do intermittent fasting and high protein/fat and barely any carbs. I generally feel full for a long time after lunch and supper.

Lunch is either eggs with cheese in a cauliflower crepe (carb free, sold in stores) or salad with salmon, or carb free noodles with sauce and cheese, or tuna (with lots of mayo) and salad.

Supper is usually some fleishig with cooked veg.
Almond flour shnitzel or hamburgers (no bun), or grilled chicken.

True, fat doesn't make you fat.
But neither does carbs.
Overeating makes you fat.
The end.

I like this. What carbs should I cut if I can’t lose anything? All Fruits? Spelt crackers for lunch? That one slice whole grain bread for breakfast? Sweet potatoes? Should I drop them all? My weight is not budging. Thank you

You don't have to cut anything.
You have to
1. Drink enough water
2. Eat adequate protein
3. All your meals should consist of carbs, proteins, fats, and fiber
4. Increase your N.E.A.T.

I think what’s hard for me is that I am never satisfied on vegetables and protein alone. I do see the difference that when I add protein to my meal I am more satisfied.
I can choose healthier carbs like a sweet potato or whole grain bread but if I don’t have any carbs with my meals I just end up cheating and eventually giving up.
Some examples of meals I eat-
Broccoli with a melted slice of reduced fat cheese- I enjoy it but an hour later I’m very hungry.
Salad with tuna- filling but I’m not completely satisfied
Salad with turkey- same thing- it tastes good but I’m starving an hour later.
I know cutting out carbs is the way to go but I’m not managing like that. I’ll either end up eating something that I really shouldn’t eat and justify it that it’s during my eating hours or I’ll eat at night when I’m supposed to be fasting because I’m going crazy from hunger.
I wanted some good ideas for meals that will satisfy me.
Dats me- I like your diet 😊 but you are either starving all morning or starving all night. I can’t do that.
Another thing that I have to do to make this work is eat in the morning which means I have to stop eating early in the evening. I try to stop eating at around 5:30pm so I can have a normal breakfast.
If I eat oatmeal, whole wheat/grain bread, gluten free pasta (sometimes) and sweet potatoes I’m barely losing weight.
I really need some new ideas.

Are you doing this according to your monthly cycle?
I am in middle of reading this book and find it to be really helpful.

Non-exercise activity thermogenesis (NEAT) is the energy expended for everything we do that is not sleeping, eating or sports-like exercise.

I’m doing okay today

Just had the left over salmon for lunch with steamed peas and carrots and a drop of leftover sweet potato

Later will probably be steamed broccoli with melted cheese and a tuna patty

Maybe some type of small treat

And then I’m done until tomorrow

Nope, it's not as simple as that. Calories in calories out has long been disproven.

For many people, carbs make you fat. Period.

The first few days are brutal. But I’ve been fasting from 8 to 10 since shvuos and now I can’t even eat at night. 10 I drink a coffee, then I eat a big brunch around 12. Supper around 6. If I need a snack in between it’s a few slices of cheese, some almonds, chickpeas, etc.

My body doesn’t do well with carbs. I did keto for about a month, sticking to net 20 grams a day. Lost around 12 lbs in like 2 weeks. Since then I’m basically eating low carb, down a few more lbs. Keto helps you lose fast but isn’t very sustainable, but it gives you a good head start. As soon as you fit into your smaller clothes you have the cheshek to keep going.

In third world countries, sometimes all they eat is bread and rice.
And they're not fat.

It’s a combination of all of the above. Everything f in moderation.

Don’t eat too late
Get enough protein in
Eat healthy carb at least one meal a day ( whole wheat bread, sweet potato)

2 servings fruit
4 serving veggies
Drink water
Nuts

Be mindful of eating healthy and exercise. Portion control. It’ll come off slowly and consistently and stay off

Some of it can be genetics too.
I know that for me if I'm eating literally next to nothing and have one slice of bread a day I will not lose weight. and I know others also who have this.
The only way I lose weight is by cutting out carbs.

What’s a big brunch? Finished eating 6 last night. This morning I waited till 12 to have a small plate of fiber one cereal and oat milk. Half hour later I was still hungry, had 2 eggs with mushroom broccoli cheese in it with some raw veggies. Should I have salad/ lunch at 3? Or rather snack and have early dinner? I think I should’ve skipped the cereal and have my eggs first thing

Cereal and milk isn't a meal, it spikes your blood sugar and doesn't fill you up. Eggs with veggies is great meal.

Fruits in the morning also does that to your blood sugar? I’m so used to having fruits till 1pm. Right now I feel like I need to stop that.

fruits alone will spike your blood sugar. If you pair it with a fat and protein, it should be ok.

Yeah, skip the cereal. It just spikes your blood sugar and makes you more hungry. I sometimes eat frittata loaded with veggies, or low carb wrap with tuna and veggies, or some made hummus with peppers /celery sticks.
