But I need to lose weight before I get pregnant again.
What do all the people against weight loss intervention suggest I do?
I’m all ears! I’m desperate.
Been intermittent fasting all year - first lost nicely then gained 30 lbs with the same eating habits.
Been calorie counting since pesach and lost very minimally- it would take 2 years on the same pace ( which rarely happens) to lose my weight.
Tried low carbs as well….
I’m against medical intervention but am at such a loss! My bmi is 40. I exercise 3-4 times a week and am super active!

My very best advice is to hire a registered dietitian who can give you an expert customized food plan that is tailored to your body and tastes and needs. If that's not in your budget, you can probably achieve your goals by following the Torah-based approach of Body & Soul (which by the way has in it a list of frum dietitians).

Do you think I'm being inappropriate?

Are you stressed? Are you sleeping 8 hours? Drinking enough water? How many calories are you eating and what does a typical meal look like?

If it's not yours I think it's ok as long as you're responding in the appropriate context.
