I have to say we never won an actual prize, but we did win a Mitzvah. We do it bc it’s tzeddukah and that’s how we want to show our kids. It’s not about the prize per se, it’s the idea. Yes you can win huge prizes, but it’s not what this is about. I remember hearing about ppl winning these huge prizes and one of my sisters being so jealous. My parents told her that we don’t know why sometimes HaShem picks certain ppl to win and certainly ppl not to win. And as soon as she heard it was one of someone she knows,she got so jealous. Then she found some things out why the other person won and her. Then she learned herkesdon

I won the losers prize for two out of three years so far.
They give out a thousand of them so the odds of winning it are pretty high

I didn’t win but my cousins won some sort of outdoor set years ago. I think it was a gazebo, chairs, tables and matching swing plus a swingset? Maybe a grill too? It was some sort of all-inclusive set

I don't understand. If it was a prize that was offered a few years in a row, why didn't someone win it previously?

Because in order to get the money they also need to win a different prize and that's what happened here

If you want to hear a good one, hear goes:
Many years ago, I won a 'kids toys package' at a party. They called me up, I was so embarrassed to go through the crowd to pick up the prize.
The package wes a variety of used toys, wrapped up and was presented beautifully.
(I used to do sheitels, and allowed my clients to bring along babies and allowed them to play with the toys).
One day, a costumer, who has a business of wrapping gifts, says with a big excitement- "you wouldnt believe it, I was the one who put together this package that you won."
The organization had asked her if she wants to sponsor a gift package and wrap it, and she was more than happy to collect all her unuseful toys and sponsor it!"
