Doona on Amazon- Chinese seller

Anyone have experience?
If the seller is Chinese and price is low is it a fake?
It’s the only listing for a black one within the same page as all the other colors.
Why does Amazon allow this?

Almost anyone can sell on Amazon. They can throw you off. But that takes a bit of time.

Not really

I buy a lot of stuff in Amazon but there are whole categories of stuff I won’t buy because too many counterfeits.

I won’t buy any kind of electronics either because too many stories of being sold fakes or even empty containers. Even chargers I will buy from the store front in Amazon like Belkin because I ordered an HDMI cable from a random seller a while ago and got an unbranded one and not the Monster brand I ordered. And Amazon wouldn’t let me post that I had received a no brand instead of a Monster.

I will generally buy only from the official store of a brand to make sure the product is real.

And of course, if the price is too good to be true then beware.

Legitimate sellers of items don’t have extreme price discrepancies. When I bought my Miele vacuum on Amazon, the prices were all essentially only about $10 or so different.
