I make cholent with potatoes/beans (no meat). I spice it with seasoning salt, but I'm getting bored of it. What's good to spice cholent with?

All I put in is a sprinkling of onion soup mix and a squirt or two of ketchup. And the spice of Shabbos makes it taste yum!

Salt, pepper, garlic Powder, onion powder, onion soup mix, smoked paprika, chipotle garlic McCormick seasoning. Yummy! I’ve gotten so many compliments.
When I don’t put meat I put smoky Montreal steak seasoning from McCormick as well

I also make a cholent without meat. Mostly beans with a little potatoes.

Salt, Black pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, a little ketchup and oil.

I also use shloimys kitchen spice. Makes my cholent consistently delicious every week for years with zero effort. Most supermarkets have it.

Any local grocery. I use this spice in everything I make.
My husband makes the cholent and its so good. I really love it and this is coming from someone who barely ate cholent the 6 years before I got married. I can give more details if anyone is interested

Equal amounts onion powder garlic powder paprika salt. A pinch or 2 of black pepper.
Only navy beans (soaked)
1/2 c oil
Cubed potatoes
Hard boiled and peeled eggs
Potato kugel
Sometimes kishka
If I add meat I do less oil.
If I add gizzard I do less salt.

To one pk beans I do a heaping plastic table spoon of the spices.
Never fails. I've doubled and tripped and quadroued the recipe a few times to feed larger crowds. Never disappointed. Always got compliments.
