My oven is dead … stopped about an hour into the self clean cycle. Display is black and oven is locked…. I’m sure I won’t have a new oven before pesach. Help.

I don’t have a Samsung, but when that happened to my kitchenaid it was the thermal fuse and the thermostat.
It was an easy fix

Thanks this gives me hope. I had this gnawing feeling before I pressed that self clean button. Should’ve just burned it at 550.

Anyone know how to transport potato kugel batter easily?? To cook in someone else’s oven. Ten min drive.

You transport it in a storage container with a lid and pour it into the pan you will be baking it in once you get there.

My oven once gave me a weird error message after self cleaning it. I actually wanted a new oven so I was excited that it broke but it was bad timing as it was the night before pesach. I ended up unplugging it and then plugging it back in and it worked. Had it for another few years. Lol
