It's so not fair that it's impossible to find an entry-level position. I'm specifically talking about engineering, but I think a lot of fields struggle with this. I'm graduating in a few months and starting to apply for jobs and it is just so hard . It's hard to even find places to apply since everyone wants 2+ years of experience, and the places that do have entry-level openings, it's impossible to get a human to read your resume. Just wanted to vent and see if there is anyone on here that can commiserate with me. The rejection is really bad for my anxiety and self-esteem.

You're right it's like that in several fields most notably programming. That's why it's best to even volunteer or work for peanuts while your still in school so you have experience when you graduate. I tell this to everyone I know because I have very close family who work regular office jobs cause they couldn't get programming jobs.
Some advice - try using any connections you have to get any job in the field with any salary to get experience. Daven!
