When you do not fargin, it is Begrudge

I came here to post this. You would use it with the negative word.

To fargin = to not begrudge

Davka. I usually translate as specifically, but there's a certain flavor in the original.

Definitely! You can't say someone is a "specificnik" LOL

On that note, nudnik is pretty good too.

My principal used to say that there’s no Yiddish word for “fun”, because a Chassidish Yid doesn’t do stuff just for fun. What

(Hi school mates!)

Also, "there's no swear words in yiddish" until I saw a chassidishe guy post an English swear word, written in yiddish on a whatsapp status once....had to laugh
The funniest part was that I was reading it over and over trying to figure out the translation, until it finally clicked Can't Believe It

My grandmother used to say in America there is no respect because everyone is you.

In Yiddish you have "ir" and "di"

Tantz in Yiddish could mean dance but also "ich hub getantzen, like geshpringen far kaas.

How do you say geshpringen?

Ich bin geshpringen fin yesurim....

I was dancing from pain.....jumping.....from pain....

Ich bin geshpringen fin simcha.....

How would say getantzen in this context?

Jumping from agitation, pounced? Jumping out my skin?

Es hut durechgedringen mean Hartz.....would be it pierced my heart very deeply

In siz arein in meine beiner, and it went into my bones? It penetrated deeply or permeated my bones

Like it went to my core

But you would need a long description to encapsulate this one yiddish word
