Maybe call butchers in the Syrian jewish neighborhoods in Brooklyn? If they don't carry it, they'll know who does.

Interesting. Never saw Goat meat for sale, or being used in receipes in cookbooks.
Never saw Goat meat in the Syrian Butchers. Wondering why Goat Meat is not sold.

Didn't know people eat goat. I think it's very tough.
OP do you mean lamb?

No, I am actually meaning goat. I have had it before, but many, many years ago. It is similar to lamb. It's not chewy if cooked properly. I am trying to make a goat curry.
I am still looking... I will try a Syrian butcher as mentioned. I thought perhaps in the Bukharian area of Queens, too, I just don't know where specifically to go and I did want to call in advance.

We have purchased goat directly from Rabbi Elken, who runs Bisra Meats. His website is bisrakosher.com - you can find his hashgacha under Kosher Certification and his # under Contact Us - goat isn’t listed on his website but if you WhatsApp him he’ll let you know if he has it in stock.
Didn’t realize others ate goat! Thought we were the only ones hehe
