I need to take this bus to a wedding in Brooklyn (getting off at the 2nd to the last stop) from midtown Manhattan. I am not familiar with buses (and in general not particularly fond of them.) Does this line have clean buses? Are the seats upholstered? (I hope not because I feel they have so much dirt in them.) Are they super crowded during rush hour? Anything else you can share about it? Thanks.

May I ask what in particular you liked about it? Was it clean? Do you remember if the seats are upholstered?

It was clean and felt nicer than the subway. Pretty sure the seats were upholstered. I think when I took it in the morning , was able to get a seat to myself. It was comfortable and I could relax and close my eyes. Can’t do that on the subway.

It’s an express bus into manhattan. $7, comfy ride, the newer ones have free WiFi, although idk if I’d risk connecting my devices to it. Never had an issue.
