Is the stop on the F train the nyc aquarium or Coney Island stillwell? Will the first get you to a nicer part of the beach or is it a far walk?

Either stop is fine and will get you to the beach. Perhaps the West 8th/Aquarium stop and beach area is less seedy than the Stillwell Ave stop but during the day both are fine.
