what brands are the least fishy tasting and smelling? (in the US) Thanks!

They are generally branded as white fish gefillta fish.
They don't have Carp in or a very small amount.

I dont like most of the gefilte fish brands but I like the kosher catch one the most. Its not overly fishy and has a good texture.

Jack's has some delicious flavored one's- Jalapeño lemon, beet horseradish flavored. but not sure if you'd still find too fishy.

Alternately can bake in marinara which masks it somewhat - drop frozen log while still in parchment & pour sauce over. Bake covered. Can poke a few holes if want.
& unwrap after fully cooked, carefully as will be steamy, while hot to absorb flavors.

I do that but without the paper on it…

We like Zevi’s.

We also bake our fish for a while. It’s less fishy when it’s drier.

When I cooked a&b fish after eating zevis for a while it tasted more fishy than I was used to.

I cook with sugar, salt, pepper and onion

The cheapest one in the store has the least fish and the most binders
Unwrap and bake dry with old bay seasoning On top
