okay...another one from Schneur..
We began talking a few weeks ago about how Hashem can do everything and doesn't have a body...My son was really blown away by this concept. For weeks he's been saying "Hashem can see without eyes" and "He can speak without a mouth"
Tonight he said "Hashem doesn't have arms but he hugs me all the time."

My 5 yr old ds is always trying to get out of things. So whenever I tell him to do something, he thinks and then says "I will do it in 100 yrs". A couple days ago he asked me if he could play with a new toy. So as a joke, I said "Sure, in 100 years." He gets real serious, and says "In 100 yrs I will be Niftar already...."

I was telling my 4 yr old today how we listen to the Torah, and he tells me: "We also have to listen to the Megillah!"
Seems like Purim's still on his mind.

GR...yes, mine too!
Schneur kept asking me "Do we dress up in costumes on Pesach?"
Umm...no, sorry...
"Well, do we dress up in costumes on Shavuos?"
Umm...no
"Well, on Shavuos I want to dress up as Har Sinai and Sing "I am a Mountain!"

My ds walked into my room recently and saw me making the beds. He looked confused as he asked me what I was doing. I said I was making the beds. He burst out laughing and said
"but you're not Sonia ( the cleaning lady)"

I was on the phone discussing the merits of various health insurance plans with my friend. As I explained the difference between an HMO and PPO, my three year old son gasped and said " mommy that's a bathroom word"

These are so cute. And I learned a new word (pontificate).
My baby is still working on his vowel sounds and is pretty good at blowing raspberries, but here are my friends' childrens' contributions.
4yo I bet you don't know what "gracias" means
2yo de nada
A bus with an advertisement for a Disney movie passed by.
4yo Does that bus take you to that land?

My 3yo nephew is just like that. They aren't allowed to say "so what" becuase its chutzpadik, so I am talking to my sister, "So, what are we doing today" (or some other such innocent comment), and a little voice gasps and pipes up, "Say sowwy!"
"What?"
"Say sowwy! We don't say so what!!"
A couple of months ago I was by my ILs and left the room "to feed the baby". My 3 yo BIL tags along, and when I start nursing he looks at me with a very confused face "But you're not a cup..."

Okay, going out on a limb to share this one. When my older kid was a little over the age of two, he loved tortellini and wanted to eat it all the time.
Me: You're not a boy, you're a tortellini!
Him: Why? What do tortellinis have between their legs?

My daughter, 2 at the time, grabbed her big brother's snack that he was packing for school the next day. After chasing her around trying to get it back from her, he gave up, and sat on the floor with his head in his hands, pretending to cry. She stopped in her tracks, walked over to him, concerned, and leaned over really closely. One second later, she yelled really loudly "FAKER"!!!!!!!
