I don't understand that sentence.
I have no idea about mental health professional regulation.
I do know about conversion therapy.
The RCA very clearly came out against a Jewish Conversion therapy organization. That should be enough for you.

If they believed a man could become a woman, wouldn't that (combined with TWAW and TMAM) mean that a FTM could just become a woman instead of transitioning to male?

Jade never met me, yet questions my motives because I didn't discuss every tragedy in the world. How bizzarre. She is probably the type to invalidate all pain because it's not "as bad" as something else.

The article you referenced stated the RCA came out against conversion therapy because that was the opinion of mental health professionals that conversion therapy doesn't work and is harmful.
But mental health professionals are not allowed to have their own opinions. Mental health professionals must repeat Leftist opinions or lose their license!
So the opinion. Of mental health professionals is meaningless and RCA made a mistake in believing that this was the FREE AND INDEPENDENT opinion of mental health professionals. It is opinion, of the leftists opposed to Conversion Therapy that mental health professionals are FORCED to repeat.

You are being disingenuous.
You know any mental health professional who publicly states "a man cannot become a woman" would lose their license.
Same with any mental health professional who supported conversion therapy. So RCA based their decision against Conversion Therapy based on mental health professionals who are FORBIDDEN from supporting Conversion Therapy!!!
