I do not know that - never looked into it. This is a state by state issue anyway. So I can't imagine there is a common answer.

I’ve seen lots of “supportive professionals” get it wrong. If you want to treat the suicidal ideation, teach her DBT skills. Teach resilience. Playing dress up can maintain equilibrium only for so long, you’re just kicking the can down the road.

Actually what you just described is called "watch and wait" which is illegal in 24 states - they only allow gender affirming therapy which is basically just a heartbeat away from hormone blockers, then cross sx hormones, then surgery.

Clearly you agree with the trans movement, and you dismiss any discussion questioning it, despite there being absolutely no evidence-based studies showing that this modality provides excellent clinical outcomes for those on the spectrum.

I'm saying that the exact same things people say about conversion therapy, can also be said about therapy that encourages people to change their physical bodies to match their mental reality. You can't argue both that people are vulnerable and sensitive to influence by their therapist, and also that they aren't.

So transition therapy is very, very harmful - causes suicide!

Charcoal, please explain to me why the Government is not Banning Transition Therapy!

Not only is Government not banning Transition Therapy where there are many reports
of clients who are had deleterious consequences, including highest suicide rate, Government
will REVOKE LICENSE of any mental health professional who speaks out against transition therapy!
