Can someone please confirm. We are eligible based on out 2018 tax returns, so we got the money.
Dh told me that on the 2020 tax return it will be a deduction. If we aren't eligible, we will have to return the money. I recently started working, we definitely wont be eligible if ita based on 2020 numbers.

I think it is based on 2019.

If you pay monthly and cannot afford your rent or food, stop paying. Meaning, you can't take money back but you don't have to pay in May (or previously in April if you had realized that you were not going to make rent). That frees up a sum of money poor people don't have.
