How do you get them to eat leftovers?? I wish my kids would do that! They won't even eat shabbos soup fresh on Thursday nights because "Shabbos food is for Shabbos." So jealous of people whose kids eat choldent from Thurs-Sunday.
Supper was chicken fingers and mashed potatoes.
Oh I wish! Kids ate pizza bagels.
DH and I are having soup, chicken and rice from shabbos.

I give them two choices. Eat. Or don't.
seriously, though, I think it's because we have a giant variety of leftovers.
choice of chicken soup with noodles, chulent, salami, chicken, roast, other deli meat, potato kugel....
I always cook too much so we can have a smorgasboard sunday night.
Everyone finds something they like.
There's always hardboiled eggs for people who are picky or contrarian......
My kids will eat the side dishes like rice or veggies. They will rarely eat extra of the main so we comprise. I make extra sides erev shabbos and a new protein Sunday night.
