Anyone ever try the rice pilaf recipe on back of Goodman’s noodle soup mix? It’s absolutely delish! Everyone loved it.

I just bought a pack. Need a good recipe. Let us know how that comes out!

They came out awesome.

Always do.

Trick is to broil for very short, or they dry out.

Also, I use oil in the sauce, which keeps them moist.

Milchig vegetable soup
Pitas and falafel
Salad
French fries

Kids had cereal and milk, string cheese, cucumbers, grapes and rice cakes and peanut butter. And cereal bars. I think cereal is becoming my kids supper staple... but as long as they eat something...

I'm surprised no one ever asks me for my recipes. Guess vegan is boring lol.

I, for one, don't think vegan is boring at all!!!!!!!!!! I grew up on a mainly vegan/vegetarian diet and I love that sort of food. I just wish my kids would eat more interesting foods. They are picky... so I am not so creative in the kitchen anymore Crying Crying

I just saw this thread. I saw your ost first. How long does it take to make dinner? How do you have time to make all this food?

A few answers.

a) I'm a SAHM so have time to cook during the day while baby is napping.
b) I make soups in abundance and freeze so just pull a container out to thaw most nights.
c) When I make a more patchke recipe like meatballs and sauce, I make double or triple portions and freeze. So today I spent a lot of time in the kitchen (around 2 hours, but I was also making desserts for Shabbos) but the payoff comes next week when I don't have to make dinner one night.
d) It takes me 10 minutes to cut up salad and fruit.
