Fabric or plastic?
Which is easier to clean?
Can I only have fabric or do I need a plastic liner (in which case I'll end up cleaning 2!)

We use fabric and a separate plastic liner - the liners are cheap enough that we throw them out instead of cleaning them (I just paid 1.97 at century 21 yesterday)- the fabric one doesn't get dirty - it hangs outside the tub, the plastic one hangs inside.

I wish they'd get clean in the washing machine, but they don't, so Century for two bucks is the way to go.

I also have a fabric one for outside of the bathtub (it doesn't get dirty) and plastic liners from 99 cents store for inside (they do get dirty - you can either clean them or get new ones few times a year - I do the latter)

For 2 of my bathroooms I have fabric curtains to match the decor & then a clear liner which I change a couple of times a year (They aren't used too often). For my bathroom, I only have a clear liner because the fabric curtain I had was hunter green to match my hunter green & grey bathroom & it made the room too dark. When I find a grey one that I like, I'll hang it up. Meanwhile, I replace the clear liner every 3-4 months.
