Ladies, what is your favorite way to cook gefilta fish? I think I like it baked in the oven, but with a bit of water it the pan.

My sil boils it, then slices it and bakes it with veggies and tomato sauce.

That does sound good. Is it served warm or at room temp.?
My sister slices the roll when it's still raw and semi frozen. The new dips in egg and flavored cornflakes crumbs and fries each slice like you would fry shnitzel. Serve with tartar sauce or s mayo kind of dip on the side. Room temperature.

We love traditional Hungarian style.... cooked in water with onions, salt, pepper, paprika and LOTS of sugar.

Thaw it out and put in in a bowl.
Dice it into small pieces.
Put the bowl on the floor, and say "Here kitty, kitty, kitty!"

baked in a narrow loaf pan, totally covered in a jar of salsa
cover and bake 400 for 1 hr 15 min
