If yes, talk me through how please.
What do I put in first? How much sauce, water?
How long to cook for etc. Thanks

I prefer to make meatballs in the slow cooker, and cook the rice separately.
I know it's more work, but I really don't like the rice cooked in tomato sauce. I prefer it as a more neutral contrast.

True ok I'm happy to do it separately. So how do I make the meatballs in slow cooker please?

I do the same. I use a rice maker for the rice. The meatballs have a different texture, but the kids love them!

Yes but same as above, I do rice in the rice cooker. For meatballs, I make a big batch (2 chop meats), and then put the balls into the crockpot. I mix a jar of grape jelly and BBQ sauce, pour over, turn on low and come back 3 hrs later. Another alternative is to use spaghetti sauce, just dump on top, add some frozen garlic and onion, done. I sometimes will do a variation where I mix together 2 cans of crushed pineapple and a can of chunks, one cup ketchup, a little apple cider vinegar, and some brown sugar. Dump over meatballs, cook on low for sweet meatballs.

As opposed to if they're made in a pot or oven?
Do I put them on high for 3 hours?
