I just have to share this cute story I heard at work today:
my friends uncle took his son to get a new suit for some special occasion. the uncle was also going to get his son a tie, even though they dont usually wear ties, he was going to get it because it was a special occasion. the salesman asks the uncle what type of tie he wants for the boy? the uncle said: "something conservitive" . the boy turns to his father and says:
"but tatty , we are orthodox"
 I couldnt stop laughing when I heard this...

That reminds me of a funny story. I was once substituting for a 3rd grade Bais Yaakov class. During our reading lesson we were reading from their text book and I had to point out the vocabulary words and see if they knew what they meant. I was explaining the word "modern"- something new, innovative..... one cute kid said "I thought modern is a women who wears pants and doesn't cover her hair!"
