Yes, they ADVERTISE that they deliver twins. They are DEMs not CNMs if that makes a difference.

Possibly.

Love this site wrote:
I'm "Klausenberg". The thing is that these days the Rebbe himself will OK anyone to have a "regular" delivery there. He still recommends not to have any procedures etc there.
My own experience was birth there for dd#1 started out "regular" and ended up one of those horrific birthing stories. To make a long story short I could have sued Maimonides easily and won. Long story. Needless to say child #2 & #3 I had in Staten Island and had a very good experience.
My first cousin also died at Maimonides a couple of years ago. Was a cute 2 year old girl and because of negligence on the hospitals part, she is dead. I do think they sued.

This is the reason why the klausenberg rebbe from Israel doesn't allow "regular births" in Maimonidies either, you never know if problems will come up...

NYS does not have a regulation on birthing twins at home. Back when you needed a practice agreement, no MD would sign off on it. So it was effectively illegal.

Yes, midwives in some areas advertise that they will deliver twins, and they are usually not CNMs (NYS regulations are complicated and permit some non-nurse midwives).

Ironically I am in exactly the same situation as the op. I just had my ultrasound on last week which confirmed my suspicions. I was scheduled for a homebirth but my midwife does not deliver twins. To those who commented that they know homebirth midwifes who deliver twins I am looking for names and numbers. I am also open to hospital doctors/midwives who take any medicaid plan. Could you provide me with specific leads I could research? Thanx.
