Who can tell me how to make a good tasting chicken with rice, orzo or potatoes in the slow cooker/crock pot? (the chicken is thighs by the way)
how long does it need to sit for? spices- which?

I used to use the slow cooker all the time. the thing I realized with recipes is that every slow cooker is a bit different.
my parents once took us on vacation we both took along hte SAME slow cooker and mine jsut did the food quicker... (worked out better... we put the meat in mine and the veggies in mom's...)
I think its just trial and error...
good luck.

I have put chicken, even frozen, with potatoes and duck sauce and just set it on medium, gone to work, and thehouse is filled with the aroma of yummy chicken when we walk in and the food is delicious and soft.

I find the chicken "melts" in there. I bake it first.
