I accidentally left out a large bag of frozen salmon fillets Sad .
It's probably enough for three or four meals, so I"ll have to bake / cook it all and freeze. Anyone with experience cooking and freezing salmon? Any good, simple recipes you'd recommend?

If you pickle it, it will last a long time in the fridge. Recipe here

Otherwise bake and flake into egg rolls etc

That will be a new one. Egg rolls...sounds good.

Have you ever frozen regular broiled or baked salmon?

salmon patties?

You remove skins and bones (don't bother keeping the dark/grey part). Chop (but don't whizz to produce fish paste), add matza meal, salt & spice (I use the crabbake spice), minced onion and 1 egg. Form into small patties and pan-fry. This you can freeze well.

Thanks for your ideas.
I didn't realize Moroccan salmon is good for freezing, I'll have to try that next time.

Also never tried crab seasoning, gonna look out for that...

crab seasoning--I use Old Bay, the one that comes in yellow rectangular tin.
But it's just a mixture of celery salt, paprika, a bit of cayenne pepper and/or pepper, I think.
