Take chicken cutlets, flatten them a bit (if you want). Spread mustard (any kind: dijon, honey, good old yellow) on the inside. Place deli meat (any kind- I usually use pastrami or pastrami+turkey but use what you like!) in center. Roll the chicken around the deli and put seam down in pan. You can fasten it with a toothpick if you want but I never do and have never had it open. If you like a sweet taste, pour duck sauce over it (if you don't, just sprinkle it with salt/pepper/paprika). Bake uncovered at 350 for 50-55 minutes or until done.

If you want to patchke a little more you can bread the chicken first but I usually don't bother and it's always a big hit.

*There's actually a similar recipe to this in Kosher Pallette II but I started doing this long before it came out.

[quote="suomynona"]does anyone else here make the same old boring stuff every week ? Smile

Me! the only thing I change is
1)the salads that go with the fish; there are always babganush, pickles and hot pepper and garden salad but only sometimes other eggplant dishes, like ratatoiuie, or greek salad.
2)the vegetable side dish: sometimes tzimmes, sometimes steamed or sauteed green beans, or sauteed zuchinni w/ carrots.

3) dessert :either apple compote with variations of cinamon raisin, strawberry or jello flavoring. or sometimes a parve ice cream. or even just fresh fruit, grapes and clementines, in the summer it will be watermelon.

How do you serve a dairy salad right b4 the meat course?

Unless, perhaps, you take the feta cheese out?

But then it's not aGreek Salad anymore Scratching Head ?!

I love hotdogs in blankets. One time, when it was just me and DH for Rosh Hashana, I just made soup, franks n' blankets, and corn dogs. Unhealthy, but so good!!!!!!!

Friday Night (just me and DH):
leftover scallion pancake wraps stuffed w/ string beans and beef from David Chu's
